Endowed Lectures
Ray Frank Robbins Lecture
This lectureship was established in 2008 to honor the memory of Ray Frank Robbins, who began his academic career at Samford University prior to teaching at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. The Robbins Lectureship focuses on the intersection of scholarship and Christian living.
Alan Culpepper (McAfee School of Theology) presented the first annual Ray Frank Robbins Lecture in 2008 and in the spring of 2009, John J. Collins (Yale Divinity School) delivered the second on 'How to read an Apocalyse'.
