George V. Irons Scholarships
These scholarships are given in honor of the late Distinguished Professor of History, Dr. George V. Irons from a generous bequest of the late Stanley Brooks Russell, Class of 1928, and additional gifts by others. Awarded on the basis of academic qualifications and need, these scholarships provide financial assistance to students who are registered majors in the Department of History.
Nancy C. Lipham Scholarships
These are prestigious scholarships established by alumna, Nancy C. Lipham, Class of 1976. Ms. Lipham is a financial advisor with Wells Fargo in Anniston, Alabama.
Mary Washington Scholarships
These scholarships are given annually in memory of the late Mary Washington, a much respected member of the History faculty.
David Vess International Scholarships
These scholarships are named in memory of the Distinguished Professor of History and former chair of the department, Dr. David Vess. These scholarships are available for students who are interested in careers in an international field and/or studying history abroad.

Evelyn Adams Meadows Scholarship
This is an endowed scholarship fund established by the children of Evelyn Adams Meadow as a tribute to her work with the Colonial Dames.
