The Department of History offers a major and minor in history and, in cooperation with other departments, offers interdisciplinary concentrations in Asian studies, international relations, and Latin American studies.
The International Studies Office offers opportunities to take courses at foreign universities, at the Daniel House in London, and through faculty-led trips around the world. History majors can earn credits in history, foreign languages, general education or electives through many of these programs.
Law school is a popular choice for history graduates. Many of our alumni have established themselves in the legal profession. For more information on the History major and Law school, see the History and Law newsletter.
